The famGADGET Platform was designed from the ground up for people that are not comfortable with computers or are not technically literate. It is NOT a modified tablet that can be purchased at a retail store that leaves the Senior to operate it by themselves. The Platform is a two part solution; There is a device that is easy to use by the Senior, AND a Management Console used to manage and customize the entire end-user-experience. It is an ‘always-on’ managed service delivered through the Cloud/Internet.
Through the management console, the Device can be introduced with only as many features as the user would be comfortable with. As the user becomes more comfortable, more features can be added.
